Alexandra Shipp, born in Phoenix Arizona on 16th July 1991 is one of America's most well-known and wealthy Film Actresses. The actress appeared as a guest in Victorious alongside Victoria Justice in 2012. Shipp's acting debut was in 2009 when she had a minor role on Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakquel. After that, she became KT who was the main character of Nickelodeon's thriller for teens House of Anubis' third season. Shipp was recognized in 2014 when she played Dani Raymond and Aaliyah in Drumline: A New Beat on VH1's television and Aaliyah in Aaliyah: Princess of R&B on Lifetime. In the second performance, Shipp also sang. She next played Ice Cube's wife Kimberly Woodruff in the biographical drama film Straight Outta Compton which chronicled the lives of the hip hop group N.W.A. In 2016 she co-starred in Bryan Singer's superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse as Ororo Munroe/Storm a weather-controlling mutant previously portrayed in the film by Halle Berry. The film featured Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Lucy Hale as Dude in 2018. She also starred alongside Nick Robinson in Love Simon. James is a name that she shares with her brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond on the TV show Drumline, A New Beat in 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16th, 1991) is a American actress, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist who rose to prominence for portraying real-life singer Aaliyah as a character in the Lifetime television film Aaliyah The Princess of R&B (2014) and Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
